What, you might wonder, is Fair Share? Fair Share is the way individuals and state and regional TRIO associations support the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) with unrestricted funds to enable the Council to continue its fight to maintain and advance the TRIO programs.
There are two ways to contribute to Fair Share – by paying (or making sure your institution pays) its annual Institutional Membership to COE and through Personal Contributions.
When you donate, you support the mission and vision of COE and its efforts in providing professional development, research, advocacy, and student opportunities for low-income, first-generation students, and students with disabilities in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., the Pacific Islands, and Puerto Rico. Each of the ten regions, including MEAEOPP, is giving an annual fundraising goal by COE, so your donation helps the region to meet its annual goals!
Instructions on how to access your COE Account and donate can be found here.
