MEAEOPP is governed by an all-volunteer Executive Board of Directors, which is comprised of five officers (President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President, Treasurer, and Secretary) and three representatives from each state/district.

The chartered chapters that comprise the MEAEOPP region are Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. MEAEOPP is one of ten regional associations that represent the interests of TRIO programs nationwide. MEAEOPP supports the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE), the national association representing TRIO, and MEAEOPP’s President, Immediate Past President, and President-Elect serve on COE’s Board of Directors.
